The
purpose of the Eastern Fantail Club Master Breeder Program is to promote
and reward excellence in the breeding of Fantails. It recognizes the
skill and dedication required to succeed in the show pen. This award not

service to the club. Determination and perseverance will be needed to
fulfill these requirements.

must have been a member of the EFC in good standing for a minimum of
5 consecutive years and have bred Fantails for a period no less than
10 years.
-
The fancier
must have won Grand Champion at the EFC Annual Meet at least once,
or Reserve Champion twice. The bird(s) must have been bred by the
exhibitor.
-
The fancier
must accumulate at total of at least 1000 Master Breeder Points of
which 600 must be won at EFC meets. The remaining 400 points may be
earned at sanctioned meets of other Fantail Clubs if all other
qualifications are met.
-
The fancier
must serve at least two terms as an officer in the Eastern Fantail
Club.
It is the
responsibility of the fancier to keep records of his/her winnings. Once
all requirements are fulfilled, the fancier must submit a complete list
of winnings for review by the Awards Committee. Once the requirements
are confirmed by the Awards Committee, the fancier will be recognized
through the News Bulletin and the Master Breeder Award will be
officially presented at the following Annual Meet.
The following
rules must be followed to be granted Master Breeder points.
-
The official
Eastern Fantail Club Standard of Perfection will be the basis for
judging at all EFC shows.
-
Shows must
have a total of at least 100 entries to qualify for awarding full
points. Entries at shows totaling less than 100 will not be awarded
the total amount of points allotted. (Refer to point tables)
-
Points shall
be awarded only for shows with 5 or more exhibitors not of the same
family.
-
Exhibitors do
not need to be present to be awarded points at a show.
-
Birds that are
not bred by the exhibitor do not qualify for points.
-
A bird will
only receive the points for its highest placing in the show. Points
are not cumulative, i.e. the Champion of Show will only receive
points for Champion and will not include points for first in class,
